Get up (x10000), ya!

Once upon a time, there lived a princess in a scarry tower made of glass. The glass was a strange barrier. It was a border that 7 rookies from a band called Touch couldn’t really cross. Maybe they had met a wizard, a witch or someone had just bribed them. Maybe they are seven good-hearted dwarves? Anyway, they are fighting so hard to find a way out for a sad princess that I can’t help but write about their methods. 

The recipe seems to be simple. Take a pinch of Beast’s, ZE:A’s, SHINee’s, F.Cuz’s and 2PM’s energy! Ohh, well, maybe you actually need a fistful of Beast, since the beginning of the choreography seems very much like their teaser. When in the supermarket, consider also buying a whole box of ZE:A, especially if you care about the sound. The song must be perfectly copied. Then you add different elements… for the song to be Original.

What can you do?

Don’t know.

Think quickly.

Because you have to hurry up!

The clocks are crazily shouting: “Tic toc, tic toc” from the very start. Even the light makes you motivated, since it’s so irritating, that you want to get up and leave. Maybe you can rescue a princess just incidentally?

And, what is the most important, the princess cries so hard in her tower that I would definitely either kill her or rescue. But I would need a big compensation.

Let’s find a way out as soon as we can!

We can try dying our hair pink. Maybe your grandma would complain, that you have always laughed at all the pink pullovers she knitted for you and now you have this sweet and pretty colour on you own head. You’ve matured a lot.

We can find inspiration in the West- find a bath, lie in it and fake Lady Gaga. Something seems suspicious? Oh, well, yeah! You’re a boy! But you’re also KOREAN!

Another way is creating a mosaic of photographs on your floor. It doesn’t matter what there is in the picture. The only important thing is you, lying in the middle and raising your hand with g r a c e. Sex-appeal is the best method, when we don’t have anything left.

But I also smell a good job concerning Touch’s outfits. Well, guys, you try so hard! You must have killed your cat to get a furry jacket. You must have caught a bat, because if I am wrong, then what the hell are those wings? The most difficult task was, however, stealing a headband from Nichkhun. Currently it’s 2PM who is the most into fitness and I wouldn’t ever dare to steal anything from people with such a black and ghostly make-up.

The end of the story isn’t very happy. I mean, for the princess. I guess, dwarves love diamonds more than women. And maybe Touch was also so flustered with the vision of their own MV, with their own bodies dancing and flowing, with their brand new trainers on-that they decided to give up the girl, let her cry alone and just stay in a place with the best light themselves.

Rookies want to shine like diamonds as well!

2PM - "I'll be back"

“It’ll be the same in my world”

Everywhere you can find 2PM now. They are winning a lot of awards, they are taking a lot of selfcams. No wonder. They are 100% idols. They are all considered manly and talented. Their popularity isn’t just a miracle, they’ve worked really hard.

But there’s another side to that. There are others in the shadow that help 2PM grow and develop. Always underrated and underestimated. Today we have a chance to meet one of them.

Cow: Thanks for the introduction and hello, everyone.

Reporter: Hello, nice to see you here. So you say 2PM shares the success with you?

Cow: Of course they do! Without my help, they would show nothing. I mean it.

Reporter: But when did it start? And how?

Cow: Do you know the show “We Got Married?”. Nichkhun and Victoria participate in it. Once they went on a trip and they visited my village. Khun was quite bored at night and he desperately looked for friends. These is how we met.

Reporter: You became close friends?

Cow: Not really. But my brain works fast, so I threatened him a little with what I had recorded. And this is how JYP hired me.

Reporter: Really? So what tasks did you get?

Cow: Ohhhh… In the beginning, I was just providing milk. It was sooo boring. But then I lost this position, because even Chansung was made to go on a diet. They said my milk was too fat. These words were even too harsh.

Reporter: Did you manage to forgive them?

Cow: I don’t know… But I knew I had to work hard.

Reporter: So what was your work?

Cow: I became their personal stylist.

Reporter: You can do that?!

Cow: It’s not that hard! I take care of their hair and some outfits too.

Reporter: So did you invent the concept of Taec’s new hair? Everyone keeps talking about it!

Cow:  No, because I had too much work licking Chansung’s hair. I think my concept was better.what how about the choreography?

Cow: Ohhh, in my village we have a dancing course, so it was not a problem for me. I can even prove it to you.

Reporter: I’m impressed.

Cow: And I used the rights of nature to complete my choreography. The steps 2PM dances are the same I use when going to the field. You know, walking, jumping... 

Reporter: And the robo-dance?

Cow: They gained some strength during the harvest season in my village. That’s why they were able to complete everything successfully. 

Reporter: And this fitness concept? What about that?

Cow: I wanted them to wear leather, JYP wanted something more athletic. Anyway, I think we found a compromise.

Reporter: I must agree. But tell me… Why was 2PM so sad in the beginning of the video?

Cow: Because they needed good fluids and they lacked them! Then I recharged them a little!

Reporter: HOW?

Cow: I am not allowed to say.

Reporter: Okay, okay. So the last question: who would you to live with in the countryside?

Cow: Eeeemmm… *embarrassed* Wooyoung-ah, I think. But Khun would change me into a beef.

Reporter: Thanks for your time!

U-Kiss: "Not Young"

“You don’t know what I feel right now”

To me, the song is a typical example of weltschmerz. Maybe you could say that I’m over- and misinterpreting, however U-KISS is an international group so it’s quite obvious they are likely to use even European motives. I am very proud to say, that their youth and innocence match the concept well.

The first voice we can hear in the MV is Kevin’s one. He was so young then and he looked so miserable with his black-haired image. I think he hurt a lot during that times. It appears to me that just after leaving his mother at home (alone, only with a fan), he rushes to find a whole new world he could accept.

Fortunately, he meets Eli. Eli is furious, always being treated like a kid. He just can’t listen to words like “You’re young”. Eli understands the world, he’s “ready for romance” and that is why I’m even happier that it started for him with Kevin Woo. For him, Kevin is desperate to pass the white fence of his childhood.

Some say that the crisis of adolescence is really visible at Alexander’s hair. WHAT THE HELL? I have even more curly hair and you must get to know THIS- curlies don’t really grow fast. Maybe that is the reason why Xander is still so aegyo.

The next thing is the connection between Kibum and Dongho. I won’t tell if I like the pairing or not (or maybe I should, since I know a person that suits Dongho better and I owe her sooo much). They’re quite manly for a Korean boysband since they’re playing basketball. But something seems wrong. Their youth must definitely be full of trauma, since the rain falls even in the building they are at. Or maybe their agency didn’t manage to mend the roof to their debut?

Yes, life is pain and “why does it always rain on me?”

The next sad thing about this MV is the fact that there’s only one girl. The only attractive thing about her is the length of her white shorts, but anyway, Soohyun’s one glimpse and he’s like: “You’re gonna be my lady!” with even more dramatic and emotional “Yooohoo!”. I am scared to ask about his intentions and instincts, but since he’s growing up… Okaaay.

Life is sooo troublesome, but HELL YEAH, we’re six cool boys so we have to find the way out of this shit.

Fortunately, to wash the pain away and relieve their frustration, they choose physical activities like… basketball and dancing. They’re still innocent- Kevin doesn’t read XXX magazines, Soohyun chooses dark glasses not to look at girls’ legs (or not to be seen doing that) and their union of hearts is so strong that they don’t even lock their lockers.

Even at the end of the MV we aren’t given an answer which path U-KISS really decided to take- bad boys, basketball players or cheerleaders… I just hope they don’t feel pain in their hearts, whatever they do.
